Things to note
Getting geared up for your upcoming pottery painting experience at PotteryPlease!? Here's a little guide to ensure your pottery-painting journey with us is a breeze!
- Do note that the studio fee is non-refundable. The studio fee is inclusive of studio and tools usage and pottery processing (firing). It is exclusive of the chosen ceramic piece, which starts from $8, payable after the session.
- Do note that breakage may occur in while it is in the kiln due to over-painting. Our staff will guide you to the best of our abilities. Such situations are uncontrolled by us and we will assess on a case-by-case basis.
*Tip: Don't paint on any surface that will be touching the table! This will help reduce the chances of breakage ♡ - Booking confirms your seat at our studio during the specific slot. Do note that you might have to share a table with others in our cosy studio!
- Do note that we only accept PayNow and cash as payment method! We do not accept card payment both online and in store~
During the session, please ensure that you:
- Do not put too much pressure on the piece.
- The ceramic piece is fragile and brittle before firing, exerting too much force or pressure may cause it to break.
- There will be an incurred cost of the item in the event of breakages.
- Be gentle when you are putting down the pottery, hairline cracks may occur due to impact against the table etc.
- Do not paint on areas that will touch the table surface.
- Our staff will wipe them as these areas will stick to the kiln and cause chips/cracks on the final piece
- Do not paint too thick.
- 2-3 layers of paint is sufficient.
